Geometric Optics & Refraction

Practice Problem

A ray of light traveling through air (n1 = 1.00) strikes the smooth surface of a glass block (n2 = 1.52) at an angle of incidence of 35 degrees relative to the normal line. Use Snell's Law (n1 * sin(theta1) = n2 * sin(theta2)) to calculate the angle of refraction (theta2) inside the glass.
