Thermal Expansion & Thermodynamics

Practice Problem

A gas system absorbs 500 J of heat (Q) from its surroundings while expanding against a constant pressure, doing 200 J of work (W) on the environment. Using the First Law of Thermodynamics (Delta U = Q - W), determine the net change in internal energy (Delta U) of the gas system.
